More on the Prison Break Season Finale!

Matt Olmstead chatted with the Boston Herald, expanding on some earlier statements.
Olmstead says that “Michael and Sara are still of the mind, ‘We’re not going to renege on this pact we made, which is, come hell or high water, we’re going to bring down the Company, because it is the right thing to do. What we’ve seen and experienced, we can’t just walk away from that and go live on the beach, knowing that this entity thrives and hurts people and controls things.”
As for the end of the series, Olmstead reveals “We’re doing a little bit of a wrinkle in time, because the end of episode 22 is the end of the journey for these guys, and we do a flash-forward to see where everybody is four years from now.”
“It was a surprising reaction for me. It was an emotional reaction, because you realize the investment in the characters. You also realize how much they’ve been through and, in a way, how noble they are for continuing to fight.”
“So when you see where they are - good and bad and bittersweet - down the road, it’s pretty powerful.”
